Here is a short idea of what ENDYL is:

ENDYL is a variegated Network of left-socialist, green-left and radical-democratic youth movements. It was founded in Copenhagen, 6th to 8th of May 1994.

ENDYL will base its work on democracy, individual freedom, solidarity, human rights, internationalism and ecological responsibility. We want to abolish the oppressive and exploitative capitalist world order and strive to achieve alternative models of production and human interaction.

ENDYL is open to any youth organizations of the European democratic left, which means youth organizations that neither refer to the ideas implied with the social-democratic strategy, nor follow an uncritical course and perception of orthodox and dogmatic communist ideas.

ENDYL will maintain constant cooperation with youth peace movements, antiracist networks, ecological movement, movement of conscious objectors etc. The organizations of ENDYL strive to enter a direct and permanent dialogue with youth movements and organizations from the countries of the South.
